Architectural Post Treatment
Gransil 4483 is a primary component supplied as a 50% active silane/siloxane emulsion for the manufacturing of commercial WR products. Gransil 4483 reacts chemically with the substrate forming a hydrophobic barrier that prevents water absorption. Treated substrates remain hydrophobic and maintain their appearance. This treatment provides long-lasting protection against a variety of issues, including scaling from deicing salts, pitting, mold & algae growth, and efflorescence. Additionally, Gransil 4483 can be utilized for mass hydrophobization of non-load bearing concrete products.
